Beaver Dam is located on the southeastern shore of Beaver
Dam Lake. The 6,600-acre lake is known for great fishing
and abundant recreation. The city is home to the Beaver
Dam Family Center and Ice Arena and 19 municipal parks,
including lakeside parks with fishing piers, boat ramps and
picnic areas. Taste the area’s dairy heritage at the Midwest
Cream Cheese Competition and the Taste of Wisconsin beer
and cheese tasting event. During the summer enjoy free
Sunday ski shows by the award winning Beaverland Must-
Skis water ski team. Don’t miss Lake Days and the Day in
the Park Arts & Craft Fair in July and the Dodge County Fair

Fox Lake, located on the shores of beautiful Fox Lake, is the
oldest community in Dodge County. The community has been
a tourist destination for many generations, offering resorts, as
well as excellent cafés and supper clubs. An Aquatic Center,
18-hole golf course, downtown shopping, public library, several
parks, and the area’s beautiful lakes provide fantastic recreation
throughout the year. Fox Lake has wonderful scenery, including

Lake Emily. Public hunting land around Fox Lake is known for

Horicon is located at the southern edge of the Horicon
Marsh, where the marsh narrows to become the Rock
River. Thousands of birds pass through the marsh each
spring and fall, while many stay and raise their young.
Experience the marsh aboard a pontoon boat, canoe, or
kayak… enjoy our 18-hole golf course and many boat
landings, parks and hiking trails… replenish at one of our
dining establishments… relax at an historic inn. Spring
brings the 11th annual Horicon Marsh Bird Festival in
May, followed by Rock’n River Jam in June, and the Classic
Car Show and Autumn Art on the Marsh in September.

Juneau, the Dodge County seat, is located between Madison
and Milwaukee on Highway 26. The 34-mile Wild Goose
State Trail begins in Juneau and offers hiking, bicycling
and snowmobiling. A separate horseback-riding trail runs
alongside the trail for 7.5 miles from Highway 60 north
to Minnesota Junction. A park just off the trail features
camping and a shelter with showers. The nearby Rock River
offers excellent fishing and boating. A Farmer’s Market is
held every Friday morning from June to September on the
courthouse square. A citywide rummage sale is held on the
second Saturday in August each year. The annual Juneau
August Fest is held the last full weekend of August.

Located in the northeast corner of Dodge County, Lomira is

Located on the western edge of the Horicon Marsh and close to the Wild Goose State Trail, Waupun offers great bicycling, hiking, birdwatching and other recreational activities. It is also home to over 11 parks. Waupun is known as the “City of Sculpture,” offering an outdoor gallery of seven original bronze sculptures. Campsites are available in Waupun County Park—contact Waupun Tourism for information. Choose from a variety of accommodations, specialty shops and eateries. During July, don’t miss free concerts in Dodge Park every Thursday. Other Waupun events include the Truck- N-Show, Tractor Pulls, Volksfest, the Avenue of Angels holiday celebration and the Spring Expo.
