St. Patrick's Day Celebration
Join the fun at the 41st Annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration in Fox Lake on Sunday, March 16. Starting at 1:00 p.m. attend the parade with floats, bands, and more. This year’s parade marshal is Judge Dick Quirk who will be riding in an Antique Fire Truck. The reigning king and queen are Tim and Maddie Shea who will be riding on their own float. The prince and princess are Freddy and Bailey Benz. Everyone will be sure to enjoy a fun filled day. Weather permitting, there will be food and drink stands on the street to continue celebrating after the parade. Everyone is welcome. Fox Lake invites anyone to consider entering a float, car, truck, child or animal in the parade.

Get your team together and have some fun at “Spell Yea”! Horicon Phoenix Group is hosting a new, fun way for adults to participate as a team in a spelling bee. If you fashion yourself as pretty good speller, or even if you can’t spell at all, this promises to be a fun evening.
Gather your team of friends for a spelling bee fundraiser, after all one of your friends must be able to spell, right? So what if you misspell
“conscientious”? Teams can be between three and five people. Phoenix Group “expert spellers” can fill in teams with fewer people. You can view rules,regulations and team registration information at the following link.
Join in the fun on Saturday, March 29th at 7 p.m. at the Rock River Tap located at 110 W. Lake Street in Horicon. Entry fees are $25 per team. You can
buy a do over for your lame spelling attempts for $2 and official “Spell Yea” drinks are $5. Proceeds go to benefit Discher Park in Horicon.

Do you love rummage sales and thrifting? Then you will love this event!! Horicon Phoenix group is planning a “Swap Meet” on Saturday,
April 12, beginning at 9 a.m. It will be held at Discher Park Dance Hall located in Discher Park at 800 N. Finch St. in Horicon. Bring your gently used items, in good condition only, the day of the event. Categories include: ladies purses and shoes, garden tools, children’s toys, sporting goods, and kitchen wares.
It costs $10 to enter and for each item you donate, you receive a swap ticket. Bring your items all day long the day of the event.
